eCatch allows you to download and browse your favorite web sites. Browse
off-line and trace changes (updates, search and advanced highlighting function
s).
Designed to manage large quantities of information with fine tuning or automat
ic
processing, eCatch is able to fill in off-line forms, highlight changes in web
pages, carry out advanced text searches, export web sites, or downlo
ad selected
links while you are reading the pages off-line...
eCatch organizes downloaded web sites in a tree view hierarchy, just the way
Windows explorer does. That tree view window is the core of the software.
It
makes distinctions between read, unread or updated pages. It is fitted with
advanced features such as drag and drop, add, delete, folders, properties,
annotations...
Two different views, "Columns" and "Information", provide you
with accurate
details and characteristics about the web pages, always displayed on our
integrated browser. The comparison tool highlights changes in web page each
time they are updated; it's definitively a very new and efficient feature.
Not
to mention how useful it can be. A keyword search function (inclusion, ex
clusion,
and mask) displays results in the "columns" view.
Efficient algorithms manage the tree view and agents, this allows you to proce
ss
bulky amounts of information. The download function is optimized to shorten
on-line time (re-get feature in case downloads are aborted, bandwidth control)
.
